A Flood of Forgiveness

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “In each night of Ramadhan Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) exempts 600,000 people from Hell and when the last night of Ramadhan comes He exempts as many people from Hell as He has exempted in the entire month up till that night.” [At-Targheeb wa At-Tarheeb]

Ramadhan is a month in which Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) unleashes a flood of forgiveness and blessings. That is why the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) mentioned that if his Ummah were to know what Ramadhan is they would wish for the whole year to be Ramadhan. [At-Targheeb wa At-Tarheeb]
