Dajjal’s Death at the Gate of Ludd

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Eesa (alaihis salam) will search for the Dajjal until he finds him at the gate of Ludd, where he will kill him.” [Muslim: Kitab al-Fitan wa Ashrat al-Sa’ah]

Ludd is the biblical Lydda, now known as Lod. It is a small city 15 km south-east of Tel Aviv. Its population in 2010 was 70,000. Israel’s main international airport is located in the city. It is possible that Dajjal will try to flee via this airport and here Eesa (alaihis salam) will kill him.
