Eavesdropping

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever eavesdrops on people’s conversations when they do not like that or they try to move away from him, will have molten lead poured into his ears on the Day of Resurrection.” [Bukhaari]

People who eavesdrop on others will be punished on the Day of Judgement by having molten lead poured into their ears. It isn’t worth it to eavesdrop!
